Used really really pretty and versatile grey paper. Stamped the background stamp from Hero arts in black versafine, cut out the circle with nestabilities, added a text stamp from ‘Viva las vegas stamp store’ and a copic-coloured ‘springtini’. The inspiration for the colour scheme for the ‘springtini’ came from Elke and as most of the time all the ink, paper, stamps and copics (apart from the text stamp) were bought at http://elke-verschooten.blogspot.com/.

Vehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13388920231908328404noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8909848606241679224.post-57490632395590679132011-04-03T21:12:00.003+02:002011-04-03T21:17:07.741+02:00Birthday Bear

Same layout as the previous card. I first designed a simple flower drawing in Illustrator, printed it on white cardstock and cut them out (I didn't have a punch or die, so I went 'old school' ;) ). I coloured the cardstock with a combination of Spun Sugar, Victorina Velvet and Tea Dye with some bronze perfect pearls also in the mix. I then made the flowers.
Added some green Tim Holtz alterations flourishes, ran the background through the swiss dots cuttlebug folder and punched a hole for the 'grandma' sentiment (WMS).

I hope both grandmothers like their card...now I just have to think of a layout for my mom.Vehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13388920231908328404noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8909848606241679224.post-21258877089075667932010-07-23T16:10:00.003+02:002010-07-23T16:16:01.493+02:00(Grand) Mothers day 01<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_2764VmjCspM/TEmi_t5z1ZI/AAAAAAAAAMk/UeZwuVF4VU4/s320/142.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497104035719927186" />

I wanted to try and work a bit more 'classic' than I'm used to for the grandmother cards and this colour scheme matches perfecty with a new kitchen table cloth my grandmother just got (brown, beige and turquoise).
The brown and turquoise plaid background was created using WMS stamps.
