The Christmas Card collection

Some of the Christmas cards I made.

Gift card holder

I loved learning to make this card at 'Crafts'nThings'. It can also hold gift certificates and as such comes in very handy!

Flower folder

Made a folder to hold a ticket to a comedy performance. Also one of the first attempts to colour with copic marker...

rozes

Bought this roze-background at Viva las Vegas stamp store...little piece of heaven on earth!

Star baby

I tried stamping on fabric for this baby shower gift...worked out OK!

Critter

Same hero arts background stamp combined with the Penny Black critter stamps.

Flowers and butterflies

Background created by repeatedly stamping a Hero Arts clear stamp with white.

Your day

Papertrey Ink 'women' set combined with the around and about sentiments.

Black White Purple

Put a left-over of handmade purple/white paper to use.

Fall colours

Bit early to start thinking about fall...but given the current weather it is more appropriate than sunny colours! I created the background by rubbing different orange and yellow shades of chalk ink and stamping a floral design in the darkest orange. The rose is stamped and embossed.

Stack of presents

Every birthday should provide you with a HUGE stack of presents! :D

I wish you

I tend to use the same 'Ik wens je...' (I wish you...) sentiment a lot...it's versatile and can be used in numerous occasions. I bought it in Elke's lovely store right here in Antwerp!

Double embossing

Dry embossing with the cuttlebug on the black paper combined with embossing powder on the green.

Thinking

I need to learn to stamp STRAIGHT...the corners are a bit all over the place. But it's the idea that counts right??? ;)

Playful

Stamp the critters, colour them and their balloons, add colour-matching scalloped backgrounds a text and some ribbon. The paper I used for the sentiment is too thin and therefore the ribbons shine through...maybe I should change that.

Imagine

Using the cuttlebug for all it's worth: background dots, nestabilities frame and butterfly.

Side circles

Cut a piece from one side of the card. Stamp the flowers on the green paper and use the nestabilities to cut out the circle (green paper) and the scalloped circle (vellum). Glue the to card making sure they stay whithin the frame of the back of the card. Add the green paper and ribbon. So easy it seems daft to try and explain...

Shiny

Clean and simple...Papertrey Ink ‘text boxed’ flower stamps in three different shades of green (markers), dry emboss the frame with nestabilities add a text and some bling: done!

Bubbles and butterflies

Stamped the background on white paper with hero arts clear stamps and stamped the same background on the green paper. Stamped and embossed the text (No matter how old you are, you’re younger than you’ll ever be) on vellum. And for the final touch cuttlebug’ed the butterfly.

The first

First attempt at posting...exciting!
